I am searching for descendants of or information on the family of
John GIFFIN born 11 May 1887 Ballymena Co.Antrim Ireland
Son of Robert GIFFIN and Esther McCLINTOCK
He moved to USA and I have photographs of him with a woman and child which are signed John and Meta. His wife was Almeda, born in England and they moved to Philadelphia where they can be found in the 1920 & 1930 census records.
Does anyone know where this family is now or how I can go about finding them, their descendants or any additional information?

Their mother died in 1911 and their father Robert remarried sometime before
his death in 1940.
Andrew was possibly in the Navy.

He had 2 sisters, Martha and Agnes, who died unmarried near Ballymena in
the 1950s.

Can anyone put me in touch with a John Boyle b.1937 in Greenock. His parents were John Boyle and Nanny Flanagan.
I am also looking for descendants of his half brother William Boyle who
died 12 Aug 1984.
William had about 10 children and I am told some have moved from Greenock
to Northern Ireland.
The Boyle family originates from Ahoghill Co. Antrim.
The earliest I have is a William Boyle born c1859 to parents William Boyle
and Martha Johnston.
My Ggrandmother was Elizabeth Dempsey b.18 Jun 1883 Drumcon near
Ballymoney. She had a sister Agnes (1879-1896) and a brother William b.16 Jul
1877 Lisnahuncheon Portglenone.
Their parents were William Dempsey and Elizabeth McDonald. They were married
in 1876 at 2nd Presbyterian Church Ahoghill but William died 7 Feb 1883.
William Dempsey's (1854-1883) parents were John Dempsey and Martha Frances who were married in 1851 in 1st Presbyterian Church Ahoghill.
The family were supposed to live on a farm called Dempsey's Hill which is either at Drumcon or at Ahoghill/Portglenone. - anyone know exactly?
My Ggrandmother, Elizabeth Dempsey had an aunt Alice who was a doctor
trained in Dublin, went to Philadelphia and married a very wealthy man
whose wife had died in childbirth. Aunt Alice looked after the baby and
always called him her son.
The father and husband owned a railway in Philadelphia.
Does anyone know any more about Dempsey's Hill, or the Philadelphia railway connection?
